Box helps make 30th Birthday celebrations a success | 16.06.06
As well as raising awareness of The Prince's Trust's work among some seven million ITV1 viewers, early indications show that the 30th birthday event will raise around 3 million pounds to help change young lives.
More than 70,000 members of the public pledged there support via phone and online as acts as diverse as Ozzy Osbourne, Annie Lennox, Vernon Kay, Ant & Dec, Richard E Grant, Stephen Fry, Jerry Hall and Dame Edna Everage helped perform and present on the day. In addition 154,000 unique visitors hit the website during the afternoons event making the 30th birthday celebrations the most successful in the charities history.
